One user wrote:Mel Brooks movies are some of the best out there, having said that the writing here is not the writing of Gene, Mel, and the rest of the greats. Every once in a while they make me laugh, the run with Jesus is going on a bit too long has nothing to do with history, and most of the humor is juvenile. Now I do understand the occasional jackass humor, but that's jackass, unfortunately there's not enough relate to everyone, or tickle your brain humor.

For example, Julius Caesar was not assassinated by Brutus because he was having an affair with his wife; rather, it was because Brutus believed that Caesar was becoming too powerful and needed to be stopped.
The History of the World Part 2 is a fairly accurate depiction of some of the most important moments in history. There are some inaccuracies here and there, but for the most part, it does a good job of representing history accurately.
